Kevin Punter made one of the biggest shots in his career during the EuroLeague playoff game against Real Madrid Tuesday night, sinking the Royal ship and snagging the first win of the series for Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade.

After the match, his teammate Mathias Lessort didn't have many words to say about the shot that decided the game.
"Kevin Punter. That's all I have to say right now," he told the media.
"I mean, you see the results. We trust him a lot," Lessort said about giving the deciding shot to Punter. "He's been big all night for us, he's been making big shots and the last one was just the cherry on the cake."
Gabriel Deck dominated throughout the entire game. He was by far the top scorer on Real Madrid's roster, he was also tied for the game-leading 33 PIR. The possession before the Partizan guard put the last nail in the coffin, Deck made a tough and-one shot to put Madrid up by one.
"He's a great player, too. That's why he's there, that's why they trust him with the shot at the end of the game so much," Lessort explained. "We stayed composed, we stayed together. Even if didn't manage to make the stop, we were able to hit the big shot at the end."
Real Madrid's big man Edy Tavares went down with an injury at the beginning of the third quarter and did not return to the game. Talking about the matchup against the Cabo Verdean center, Lessort was just happy that his teammate Alen Smailagic could help him in the battle.
"We played 34 games to get to this point, we're playing against one of the best teams in Europe. Tavares has been the best big [man] in Europe for the last 3-4 years. It's a big challenge for me to play against him," he admitted. "Smiley (Smailagic) also did a good job against him, exploiting his weakness, being able to pick-and-pop, and that was big for us."
