Panathinaikos are reportedly unhappy with the player's behavior and are expected to part ways with him before the end of the season, a condition that Bacon's contract allows.

After arriving to the organization in the middle of the season, Dwayne Bacon's time with Panathinaikos Athens is about to be over.

According to Georgios Kouvaris from Gazzetta.gr, the team is expected to part ways with the forward.

The organization is reportedly disappointed in Bacon's behavior. The player was left out of the team before the Greek League (ESAKE) quarterfinal matchup against Kolossos H Hotels Rhodes for a disciplinary violation.

Kouvaris notes that there is a clause in Bacon's that allows the club to part ways with the player if there are any disciplinary issues without having to wait for the season to end.

The Greek club will remain with just five foreigners in ESAKE as the regulations do not allow registering new players in the playoffs.

"I'm so misunderstood it makes no sense but I swear I'm [a]bout business every time I step in between those lines," he wrote on an Instagram story two days ago. "My will to win is always there, the work I put in is there, won't let them fool me like I ain't worth the bumps and bruises, this is a lot of pain poured into something I truly love to do! Stay blessed!"
