Nikola Mirotic described a massive Real-Partizan fight as a "disaster." A former Madridista also emphasized that such behavior has no place in basketball, especially at this level.

FC Barcelona power forward Nikola Mirotic provided his view on the massive brawl between Real Madrid and Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade players in Game 2 of the EuroLeague playoffs on Thursday night.

Reigning EuroLeague MVP described what happened at WiZink Center as a "disaster."

"I do not want to comment on the disaster others have made," Mirotic, a former Madridista, told RAC1. "Let them think about how they wash their faces and hands for what happened. Obviously, basketball doesn't deserve these things, especially, basketball at this level."

Mirotic is not the only Barca player who addressed the events in Madrid.

"I didn't understand myself. It's unbelievable," Rokas Jokubaitis discussed the scuffle with Lithuanian media. "This should not happen in basketball. The next day, people [who made wrong decisions] understood, but it was too late."

For his part, head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius expressed shock and disappointment, stating that such fights have no place in basketball.

"Everyone is shocked," Saras said. "Of course, it's a shock when you sit in a hotel and calmly watch the game, but then you get up and walk around by grabbing your head. It is not one-day things, that will go down in league history. It has no place in basketball. However, sometimes it happens.

"In the EuroLeague, I think they did the best boxing in history," he added.

EuroLeague officially announced thatGuerschon Yabuselereceived the harshest penaltyout of all parties involved in the Madrid fight -- a five-game suspension. Meanwhile,Kevin Punterwill have to miss two games,Mathias Lessortone, and the same goes forGabriel Deck.
