Chris Paul exited the game after he injured his groin in the third quarter.
With just under 5 minutes to go in the quarter, the veteran guard jumped for a rebound when he immediately collapsed, grabbing his left groin.
Paul continued to play in the next possession but had to leave the game when Michael Porter Jr. shot free throws just half a minute later. It was then announced that Paul would not return with groin tightness as the cause of the exit.
"All we can do is hope he has a speedy recovery. We're going to be behind him. We're going to hold it down while he is out -- or if he's out – and just take it from there," Devin Booker told the media after the game.
The seriousness of the injury and, subsequently, Paul's status for Game 3 are currently unknown.
The Suns currently trail 0-2 in the series. The next game is scheduled to be played in Phoenix Friday night.
