After parting ways with Steve Nash, Jacque Vaughn became the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets. Ahead of his first full season in the position, the specialist has decided to issue a change in his coaching staff.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN, the organization has decided to part ways with assistant coaches Igor Kokoskov, Brian Keefe, and Tiago Splitter.

Kokoskov joined the staff during the last offseason. Splitter, meanwhile, has been in the franchise since 2019.

Under Vaughn, the Nets won 43 games out of 75 this season. The franchise was also involved in two blockbuster trades that sent away their two biggest stars - Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant - to the Dallas Mavericks and the Phoenix Suns respectively.

After losing the two stars, the Nets finished the year with a 13-15 record in the remaining games. The organization was swept in the 1st Round playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Nets hold two 1st-Round picks in this year's NBA Draft - their own and the one they received for the Durant trade.
