In the first game of the series between MZT Skopje-Aerodrom and Kozuv, a scuffle broke out in the second quarter.
With under 6 minutes remaining in the period, Skopje's Damjan Robev drove to the basket but got stopped by the opposing defense. Unhappy with the no-call, the team's coach Dragan Nikolic stormed onto the court.
As the emotions continued, Nikolic continued going to the center of the court. In the process, he knocked down Kozuv's player Myron Gordon who was dribbling the ball in the fast break.
After getting knocked down, Gordon immediately squared off against Nikolic, causing a scuffle between the players. Luckily, it didn't amount to anything, as the players remained largely calm throughout the conflict.
Nikolic was awarded a disqualifying foul. Skopje's Abdul Abu was also ejected for leaving the bench area during the scuffle.
On an interesting note, Skopje's Michael Kefi was just shooting three-pointers during the last part of the conflict.
Skopje ended up winning the match 83:69.
