Tavares revealed that a physio has been working with him 24/7 this week to make sure he plays against Partizan. The center feels much better, he says. Gabriel Deck and Mathias Lessort will be crucial in Game 4, Tavares thinks.

Even though he was battling an injury, Edy Tavares played the best game of his EuroLeague career in a crucial Game 3 against Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade on Tuesday. The center opened up about his current condition.

Before the Real Madrid practice on Wednesday, the big man from Cabo Verde revealed how he feels and what's being done to prepare for Game 4 on Thursday.

"It's much better. The physio has been helping me a lot during the days without rest. He's been helping me to reduce the swelling of the knee as fast as possible. I think they did a good job with me. I'm trying to be ready to play tomorrow. My legs feel better today," Tavares said.

Indeed, the center looked better and more agile during the portion of the practice open to the media compared to yesterday when he could be seen limping and having at least some trouble running up and down the court.

Two players from both teams - Gabriel Deck from Real Madrid and Mathias Lessort from Partizan - did not play in Game 3 due to sanctions from the EuroLeague. Tavares thinks both players will be game-deciding factors in the matchup on Thursday.

"Gabi is one of the best power forwards in Europe. He always gives everything he has on the court. He's been great for us," he said about Deck. "I think it's super important for us, I'm sure he's going to help us tomorrow."

"He's been great for the whole year, he's one of the key players for them. He's going to come out with his usual energy to help his team," Tavares answered about Lessort's return. "We have to do our best, I have to do my best to help. Our goal is to come back to Madrid."

Due to the tragic school shooting in Belgrade, no songs or music will be played during Game 4. Additionally, a minute of silence will be observed before the start of the match.
