Kostas Sloukas led Olympiacos to a hard-fought win over Fenerbahce in Game 3. The Greek guard expressed his thoughts about torching his former team, pointed out Olympiacos' problems in the series, and explained why he thinks Vezenkov made a wrong decision that paid off.

After the players of Olympiacos Piraeus had taken their time to celebrate a big win in Game 3 of the EuroLeague playoff series against hosts Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, Kostas Sloukas was the first to appear before the (Greek) media.

"After my injury, I wasn't feeling well. But I've been feeling well for the last month," Sloukas said.

"If the coach uses me a little more or less, it's his choice. I do my job, which is not easy. I try to keep my head clear and do the best for the team," he continued.

Sloukas knows how to address the media. He also knows how to handle big-time games like the one Olympiacos played vs. Fenerbahce on Wednesday night. Once a key member of the Turkish side (2015-2020), the Greek international has been residing in Piraeus for the past three seasons.

Last year, he was the author of many game-winning shots that allowed Olympiacos to clinch the home-court advantage.

The most prominent was the one in the home game against Anadolu Efes. But when Sloukas had the chance to win Game 4 of the playoff series vs. AS Monaco in the Principality, he misfired, allowing the hosts to get away with some more days of hope.

This season, the 33-year-old guard signed Olympiacos' win in Madrid, beating Edy Tavares one-on-one with three seconds remaining on the game clock.

It was a 'mistake' Sloukas wasn't going to repeat in Istanbul when he took responsibility for the last possession in a game full of big plays.
