Blatt will be honored before the start of Game 4 of the EuroLeague playoff series against AS Monaco on Thursday.
"David, congratulations on your induction to the Maccabi Tel Aviv Hall of Fame," NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said. "The game of basketball has brought you around the world, and you were successful everywhere you went. You're beloved by fans in Israel and throughout the global basketball community."
"I wish you all the best and I want to congratulate you for being a part of the Maccabi Hall of Fame," Zeljko Obradovic added.
"You're a very good friend, an amazing coach, I've learned a lot from you, and I really wish you the best," Ettore Messina said.
"A great honor and a great coach, but most importantly, a great person. You still owe me coffee after that game in Milan," Pablo Laso joked.
The game is scheduled for 20:05 CET. Monaco currently lead the series 2-1.
"It was truly an honor to play for you," former EuroLeague MVP and two-time champion Anthony Parker said. "Thank you so much for everything you gave to the game and all that you did for me."
