FC Bayern Munich will finish the season without their captain Vladimir Lucic, the team announced.

Lucic suffered a left hand injury during the game against Bamberg three weeks ago. Lucic planned to return to the court this season, but after consulting the specialists, it was decided that surgery would be necessary.

Lucic averaged 8.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 8.6 PIR per game over 17 EuroLeague appearances.

In German League, he averaged 8.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 9.9 EFF per game.

It was not the only loss for Bayern, as Othello Hunter also ended his season early.

The 36-year-old suffers from a severe herniated disc and therefore was shut down for the rest of the season. The last time Hunter played was back in early March.

Hunter averaged 7.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.0 assist, and 9.5 PIR per game over 24 EuroLeague appearances.

In German League, his numbers were 8.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 0.9 assists, and 9.4 EFF per contest.
