After trailing 1-2 in the series, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv dominated against AS Monaco in Game 4 to force the decisive Game 5 in the EuroLeague quarterfinal series. Contrary to the first two games in Monaco, they won't be able to have as many fans as they previously might have thought.

According to Tomer Givati from Israel Hayom, the Roca team will allow only 150 Maccabi fans into the Salle Gaston Medecin.

The decision was made after a Monaco principality security council meeting during the week, BasketNews sources say.

The main reason for the decision was the unrest that was caused by Maccabi fans, citing numerous conflicts between them and Monaco supporters as well as their actions when the Monegasque team arrived in Tel Aviv.

In one instance, Monaco's bus was stopped in the middle of the road by Maccabi supporters, causing trouble for the visiting team.

Maccabi fans created a home-like atmosphere during the first stint of the series in Monaco last week.

Before Game 2, Maccabi supporters were seen cheering every Mike James' miss during the pre-game shootaround. They marched through Monaco streets singing their songs and chants.

Maccabi fans were subjected to strict pre-game checks in Monaco, for which they complained on social media.
