Redick ended his 15-year NBA career in 2021 and began hosting the Old Man and the Three podcast on YouTube. Later on, he got invited to work at ESPN as an analyst.
The 38-year-old has no prior coaching experience. A role in the Raptors organization would be his first coaching stint after retiring.
The Raptors are known for interviewing a wide range of possible candidates when searching for a new head coach. For example, they held an interview with then-Zalgiris Kaunas head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius back in 2018.
