Even though a brawl in the Real Madrid-Partizan series had serious consequences, Partizan had everything in their hands during Game 5, so Dante Exum's claim raises the question of whether the series momentum really shifted in Game 2.

The historical series between Real Madrid and Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade has finally concluded, and unfortunately for Partizan, they were left on the wrong side of history.

Up until now, no team has managed to bounce back from a 0-2 deficit in the series, but Real made something that seemed barely possible.

This series had everything: unprecedented comeback, game-winner, huge performances, plenty of emotions, the incredible atmosphere in both arenas, and, of course, controversy.

Yes, we are talking about the infamous brawl in Game 2 that saw four players suspended, and the game forfeited before its final buzzer. Partizan guard Dante Exum brought the topic back after a Game 5 loss, claiming it completely changed the series.

"The series changed when the bodies got slammed. 100%," Exum said after the game. "We lost two of our guys [Mathias Lessort and Kevin Punter], I'm playing injured for the rest of the series."

Exum also believes Guerschon Yabusele received a light punishment, adding that Kevin Punter's and Mathias Lessort's suspensions completely changed the picture of the series.

"Yes, 100%. KP [Kevin Punter] was coming out trying to protect me from someone hitting me from behind, and he [Gabriel Deck] gets one game [suspension].

He's [Punter] defending me and comes out, and the guy got his fists up to him. Of course, he's gonna defend himself. It's a joke. I think they knew what they were doing. We had the game, we should have won it. That's just it, but the series momentum definitely changed at that point," Exum shared his thought openly.
