The Czech pivot, who was in the starting five, suffered a lumbar discomfort that made him retire to the locker room. Once the first examination was carried out by the medical staff, the club issued a statement explaining what happened.
"Jan Vesely, with acute lower back pain, is out for the remainder of the game against Obradoiro. His evolution will decide his availability for the next games," the club reported.
Barcelona will travel to Kaunas next Wednesday (May 17). The squad coached by Sarunas Jasikevicius is playing ACB leaders Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz on the road next Sunday (18:30 CET), in their last outing prior to departure for the big event.
