Puerto Rico basketball is now arguably best known for DeMarcus Cousins transferring to Guaynabo Mets. The league (BSN) is holding its All-Star Weekend where a number of celebrities played a game amongst themselves.

After retiring from boxing with an undefeated record, Floyd Mayweather is enjoying his celebrity status in Puerto Rico now as he was one of the members of the game. Alongside Mayweather, famous producer DJ Khaled and MLB legend 'Big Papi' David Ortiz also participated in the event.

The two teams were led by former Puerto Rican NBA players JJ Barea and Carlos Arroyo. Team Arroyo captured the win after overtime 66-65. Mayweather was named the MVP of the game after scoring 23 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and recording 3 steals.

"Puerto Rico - a great place, so many beautiful people, the atmosphere is crazy, I'm just happy to be here. JJ Barea, [Carlos] Arroyo, so many great players from Puerto Rico, I'm having fun," Mayweather said after the game.

The famous fighter has been in Puerto Rico for several days already, attending a BSN game where Cousins played. He will remain in the country and will watch the All-Star Game on Saturday.

"Crazy game, both teams can play. It was a great game, what else can I say?" he said about the Cousins match, "It's very exciting. There's another game tomorrow, I look forward to going to that game. Puerto Rico is a great place."
