After the first quarter, head coach Dimitris Itoudisgot into an argument with big manJohnathan Motley. Motley was seen trying to explain himself while Itoudis was passionately shouting at the player. Moments later, the coach gestured for Motley to leave the bench and go to the locker room.

After the game, Itoudis offered a short comment about the situation.

"Something that could happen in the family happened on the bench, after that the team reacted very well," he said to Fenerbahce TV.

The player came back to the bench area in the second quarter but didn't play a single second in the remainder of the game.

In almost 5 minutes of playing time, Motley made one free throw, grabbed two rebounds, made two assists but committed two turnovers for 2 PIR.

Fenerbahce went on to win the game.
