Saras doesn't think playing in Kaunas is a disadvantage for him. Instead, he's glad his family doesn't have to travel. Throughout his career, it gets easier, he admits, and even starts to know the questions journalists ask.

Having been born in Kaunas, FC Barcelona's head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius arrived for the Final Four in Lithuania as a person who knows the surroundings better than his colleague from the other three teams.

Asked during the EuroLeague Tipoff Event whether the familiarity of the place is an advantage or a disadvantage to him, Saras jokingly said that it's the easiest Final Four event in his entire career.

"I think this is the easiest Final Four if you think about it. My entire family is here, you don't have to travel, I just have to pay for the tickets," he laughed. "They're all here. It's really easy. As far as it getting in the way, all the surroundings here are very comfortable here, the Arena is like a home. So far, everything is extremely comfortable. Having been through many of these situations helps a lot. I think it should be ok."

Later on during the Tipoff Event, Jasikevicius was reminded about his rich past as a player with 6 Final Fours under his belt. With the 4th appearance as a coach, it's his 10th EuroLeague Final Four.

Saras admitted that it gets progressively easier over time.

"The first Final Four in Barcelona in 2003 was brutal. You don't know what to expect, you want it so much, so there was no possibility of sleeping. I didn't sleep for a week. You try to catch an hour here and an hour there because of the nerves," he explained.

"We understand what the players are going through, especially the guys who are here for the first or second time. Everything gets easier with each Final Four. You know what to expect, I slept great. Once you go through it so many times, you kind of know what to expect. You know the routine. I even know the questions you are going to ask me," he laughed. "It's easy now."
