According to Vasilis Vlachopoulos from Gazzetta.gr, Greek forward Nikos Rogkavopoulos is expected to sign a two-year deal with the Basque club and has already reached a verbal agreement.

Rogkavopoulos is currently in Chicago in a training camp, preparing for the upcoming NBA Draft in June, Vlachopoulos notes.

The 21-year-old forward spent the last season with Yukatel Merkezefendi in the Turkish League (BSL), averaging 15.4 points, 4.5 assists, and 1.8 assists. The team finished the regular season in 13th place and did not advance to the playoffs.

He played 3 matches for the Greek national team throughout the 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers windows, averaging 14 points and 6 rebounds for 17.7 PIR. Most notably, he had a monster game against Serbia in February of 2023 when he recorded 28 points on 8-for-12 shooting and 4 rebounds for 30 PIR.
