The authorities confirmed that Morant is not in any harm.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office spokesperson stated that officers visited Morant's residence in Tennessee after he shared the concerning IG stories.

Morant reportedly informed the cops that he is taking a break from social media and assured them that he is doing well.

Morant posted a series of Instagram stories saying "love ya" to his mom, dad, and daughter and then a final story saying "bye" with a photo of an NBA On TNT microphone. Shortly after, he deleted all the Instagram posts.

The recent events coincide with Morant's ongoing suspension from the NBA and an investigation into a video that surfaced on his friend Davante Pack's Instagram Live account ten days ago. In the video, Morant appeared to be holding a gun.

This incident follows a prior suspension of eight games for Morant, resulting from a similar incident involving a firearm in an Instagram Live video at a Colorado nightclub on March 4.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, it is anticipated that Morant will face a more extended suspension this time.
