Former Panathinaikos Athens guard Andrew Andrews is close to reaching a deal with Joventut Badalona, according to BasketNews sources.

Sources indicate that the 30-year-old 188 cm guard is nearing a two-year contract agreement.

Andrews began the 2022-23 season with Panathinaikos Athens but finished with the Frutti Extra Bursa.

In four EuroLeague appearances, Andrews averaged 8.2 points (41.7% 2FG, 62.5% 3FG), 1.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 8.0 PIR in nearly 20 minutes of playing time.

After moving to Bursaspor, Andrews had an average of 13.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in the Turkish championship.

Joventut Badalona reached the EuroCup semifinals this season and created an upset by eliminating Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz in the quarterfinals of the Spanish league playoffs.
