Bogdanovic said that Partizan fans are being talked about positively in the US. He thinks the adaptation process is easier for NBA players in Europe than vice versa.

After a season with the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA, Bogdan Bogdanovic is now back in his home country of Serbia where he enjoys spending his time in Belgrade.

He, alongside Vlade Divac, recently went to a middle school to answer questions from children on topics ranging from his possible return to Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade to an offer to play 1-on-1 against one of the attendees.

His former club Partizan were only a step away from going to the EuroLeague Final Four this season. With Bogdanovic playing in the NBA, only a preseason encounter would give him the chance to play against the Serbian club.

Luka Doncic's Dallas Mavericks will play against Real Madrid this October, marking the first game of an NBA team against a EuroLeague team since 2016.

"If Partizan were to play against NBA clubs, success would depend on a lot of factors. Starting with what the rules are - whether they're European or American. If they are European, things are more in favor of the black-and-whites," Bogdanovic said in a press release, mentioning FC Barcelona as an example that it's possible to beat an NBA club. "It's not a good comparison though because those games usually occur in the preseason when the players are not in the best form."

One thing Bogdanovic is sure about - if the match was played in the Stark Arena, Partizan fans would create an amazing atmosphere.

"When we talk about fans, Partizan is there above almost all clubs in the USA because they create an environment that represents the players on the court more. I'm glad that it's being talked about positively in the US as well," he told.

Doncic has said that scoring is easier in the NBA, a thought that has been repeated by several other superstars. Bogdanovic has his own take on the matter.

"It's difficult to compare European and NBA basketball. It's a different game in America, it's a totally different dimension. Marketing and entertainment play a big role, physicality is an important factor. There are certain freedoms in the game, the speed is greater," he explained. "It's not easy to get used to that, although I think it would be a little easier for an NBA player to get used to European basketball than the other way around."

NBA and European basketball aside, Bogdanovic is slowly starting to prepare for the upcoming 2023 FIBA World Cup. After missing last summer and EuroBasket 2022, Bogi is now ready to return.

"Personally, I'm extremely motivated [to return] and I'm sorry that I wasn't with the national team last year. Now I am completely focused on what awaits us," he said. "We all follow Nikola Jokic and hope that he will win the title in the NBA. We hope that he'll have enough time to rest and find strength for the World Cup."

"It's also a major issue for all of us but we should support him in such a moment instead of burdening him with this topic," he concluded.
