Boulogne-Levallois opted to play Game 3 and a potential Game 4 of the French league finals in the Roland Garros stadium with a capacity for more than 14,000 viewers.

The Metropolitans 92 will play Game 3 of the Betclic Elite finals against AS Monaco at the Roland-Garros this Thursday, June 15. A possible match 4 (two days later) could also be played on the Philippe-Chatrier court.

After relocating Game 2 of the semi-final series against LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne to the Accor Arena in Paris, the Metropolitans 92 have found another arena for what could be Victor Wembanyama's last game in France before his departure to the NBA. The team coached by Vincent Collet will host the EuroLeague side in a stadium with a capacity of 14,322 spectators.

Paris Basketball have played three times this season at the Roland-Garros and the Accor Arena, while Nanterre 92 chose the Paris La Defense Arena and Fos Provence Basket regularly plays in Marseille at the Palais des sports, registering a record 6,000 spectators this season.

According to Basket Europe, the Mets' hime-court, Marcel-Cerdan in Levallois (2,800 seats), was deemed too small to host such important games. Moreover, the Accor Arena in Bercy was ruled out due to the scheduling of comedian Ines Reg's show on June 17.

The Roland Garros central court has already hosted a basketball match this season, Paris Basketball - AS Monaco, on October 16 2022, in front of 10,424 spectators. The Roland Garros was a historical stadium for basketball, hosting eight French championship finals between 1934 and 1948.
