Udonis Haslem became the oldest player to ever play in the NBA Finals history at 42 years and 363 days old. He logged in 30 seconds of play and attempted a shot.

If the Heat win the Finals, he would not become the oldest player to win a title though. The record belongs to the legendary Robert Parish who was part of the 1996-97 Chicago Bulls roster but didn't play in the Finals series against the Utah Jazz. Parish was 43 years and 287 days of age at the time of his achievement.

Parish is also the oldest to ever play in NBA Playoffs with his last game being at 43 years and 254 days of age.

Haslem is only the third player in NBA history to play 20+ seasons with the same franchise. The previous two players to accomplish such a feat were Dirk Nowitzki and Kobe Bryant.

Earlier in the season, Haslem announced that he was retiring from basketball after the 2022-23 season.
