Antoine Diot left ASVEL after four years and two French League trophies.

Antoine Diot signed a two-year contract with Chorale Roanne Basket, marking a new chapter in his illustrious career, per the official announcement.

After spending four seasons with LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, the 34-year-old veteran guard decided to join Roanne to continue his journey, which includes notable achievements such as being crowned European champion in 2013, winning the EuroCup and the ACB League with Valencia Basket, securing two French championship titles in Villeurbanne, claiming four French Cups, and two Leaders Cup trophies.

During the 2022-23 season, Diot averaged nearly 4 points and 2 assists in approximately 13 minutes and 30 seconds per game in the domestic league.

In the EuroLeague, he maintained averages of 3.3 points, 1.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and a PIR of 2.9 over 25 games, with an average playing time of 13 minutes and 33 seconds.

Roanne coach Jean Denys Choulet expressed his satisfaction with the acquisition, stating, "We needed an experienced guy to supervise young players, and Antoine is the right person. Antoine still has at least two great seasons ahead of him."
