Misko Raznatovic is widely regarded as Europe's most renowned basketball agent. He has established himself as a representative for numerous exceptional players, among whom the standout figure is none other than Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic.

However, as Raznatovic says, there are some issues in the European basketball ecosystem that might influence his own business.

"European basketball is not going in a good direction. Young players don't get a chance to play, and they are moving early to the NBA," he underlined in the EXTRA SMOKE podcast, co-hosted by Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson. "Then, with the third two-way contract in the NBA, fewer and fewer players are coming to Europe.

"EuroLeague becomes a league without stars. EuroLeague was the most exciting this year but not because people were great, just because great teams are going down, middle teams stay, and then there is like a big competition. I am really worried about European basketball. For NBA, I am not worried at all. Everything there goes in the right direction."

Contrary to the wishes of many European basketball fans, Raznatovic believes that NBA expansion to Europe is not a realistic possibility.

"No. Honestly, this is a big-time European wish but this is not realistic because NBA is really on a different level," he said. "There is no reason for them to come here. There were talks that there [in Europe] will be conferences or something, but it's far away."

Lastly, Raznatovic shared his personal list of the Top 5 most impactful European players of all time during the podcast. While paying tribute to his idol Drazen Petrovic, he listed the players as follows:

Dirk Nowitzki Nikola Jokic Drazen Petrovic Peja Stojakovic Luka Doncic
