NBA Finals MVP Nikola Jokic found out this information in the post-game conference after winning the series against the Miami Heat.
Jokic was asked whether he looks forward to the parade.
"No. I need to go home," he said swiftly.
"I need to be home on Sunday. I have my horse racing," Jokic earlier said on the GameTime show.
The parade is scheduled to start at 10 a.m., starting from Union Station. It will then proceed along 17th Avenue and Broadway before concluding at Civic Center Park
It is expected to resemble the parade organized for the Colorado Avalanche, who clinched the Stanley Cup last year, as well as the parade held for the Denver Broncos, who emerged triumphant in Super Bowl 50 back in 2016.
