At the young age of 23, Mattisseck already boasts quite an impressive resume, having gained experience from 176 German League and 109 EuroLeague and EuroCup games over the span of six seasons with ALBA's first team.

After initially joining the team as a double licenser, the 1.94-meter player signed his first professional contract with ALBA in the summer of 2019.

Now, his four-year contract, which was set to expire at the end of this season, has been extended until 2026.

"I'm very happy to be able to play in my city, the great club, and this extraordinary team for another three years," Mattisseck said. "I am looking forward to many new challenges that we will all face together. Our fans are always there for us and push us to our limit, regardless of whether we end up celebrating championships or suffering painful defeats. This unbelievable cohesion makes this club something very special."

In the recently concluded EuroLeague season, Mattisseck played in 16 games and contributed 2.5 points during his average 11 minutes of playtime.

ALBA finished 16th in the strongest European league, with 11 wins and 23 losses. In the local championship, ALBA reached the quarter-finals stage where were eliminated by Ratiopharm Ulm.
