Erdem Can's tenure at Turk Telekom came to an end, as the Turkish coach is expected to join Anadolu Efes after the BSL finals.

Turk Telekom formalized the expected separation from its former head coach Erdem Can, wishing him success in his new journey.

Can took over Turk Telekom last summer, leading the team in one of the most successful seasons in the club's history. The Ankara-based club finished first in the Basketball Super League regular season, while also making the finals of 7DAYS EuroCup. However, Turk were eliminated by Karsiyaka in the playoff semis.

The 42-year-old coach guided the Turkish squad through 60 games, collecting 44 wins and 16 losses.

Erdem Can is now expected to sign with Anadolu Efes and become Ergin Ataman's successor after the Turkish champion is proclaimed. Efes lead the final series 2-0.
