After having been Copa del Rey champs, third in the ACB League and fourth in the Basketball Champions League, the most important conquest for Unicaja Malaga has been the reunion with their fans.

The same fans that packed the airport at 3 in the morning to receive the squad arriving from Badalona and that have filled the Martín Carpena arena six times with 10,602 spectators.

The year has been idyllic and the club wanted it that way from the beginning. It was a special season in which the club's 30th anniversary was celebrated in the stands.

As Beatriz Tocon from Opinion de Malaga notes, it can be said, with total certainty, that Unicaja Malaga's season ticket is the cheapest season ticket in Spain - and maybe in all of Europe. A total of 29 games were held at the Martín Carpena:

An adult who bought their seat last summer for 130 euros in the upper bowl or lateral upper bowl -the cheapest in this category- bought their entrance to each game for only 4.48 euros. In other words, watching a full season has cost them less than five euros per game.

All of this has led to Unicaja closing the season with a whopping 7,200 subscribers, who either bought season tickets or took advantage of the special offers available by the club throughout the season.

Hence, Unicaja boasted the best average attendance in the ACB regular season with an average of 8,844 fans, the highest figure since the 2010-2011 campaign, when they averaged 9,265 spectators.
