The specialist didn't clearly specify it but provided an honest answer.
"I'd like him to play a lot since there are the Olympic Games after the World Cup [next year]. I think he wants it as well. This World Cup is a launching pad [for him]," he said. "The World Cup experience would prepare him best for his entry into the NBA."
"I hope we can collaborate with his franchise. We know them a little [already], I received congratulations from the GM by the way," Collet revealed. "It's important because he would play against the same players he will meet next year [in the NBA]. This was not the case in the Betclic Elite. At his age, the [game] experience cannot be replaced."
France is placed in Group H in the World Cup together with Latvia, Canada, and Lebanon. The teams will compete in Jakarta, Indonesia.
