Despite having the most popular league in the world and arguably the most competitive one (at least during the playoffs), the NBA has been looking at multiple options to make tweaks here and there, turning their product into something even more entertaining, especially for the younger generations.
The fact that you have something that works doesn't mean that you have to stop innovating and finding alternatives. That's why, starting from next season, NBA will implement an in-season tournament to make the regular season more interesting.
With the arrival of the new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between franchise owners and the players' association, there will also be other changes destined to impact not only the NBA but, to an extent, the European market as well.
