The 36-year-old announced his decision to retire from basketball on his Instagram page. He did it on Father's Day.
Drafted in 2005 with the 45th overall pick, Williams is most famous for being a high-level role player. As such, he's been named the Sixth Man of the Year three times in his NBA career - in 2015, 2018, and 2019.
