"I have a lot of respect for the presidents [Giorgos and Panagiotis Angelopoulos] because when we discussed it three years ago, we had exactly this in mind. They believed in me, I believe in them, and I have them in my heart. They've had a special place [in my heart] for years," he told Gazzetta.gr's Kostas Melayess.
"We dreamed of these moments. Olympiacos deserve to be in the European elite, they deserve to win titles and be among the top teams in Europe," Sloukas continued. "Whether I'll continue to be at Olympiacos is a discussion that will take place in the next few days to see what happens next."
Sloukas admits that he wants to stay in the Greek team but it will take more than that to remain a part of Olympiacos.
"The will [to stay in the team] obviously exists, but there are also some problems which, if not solved, the will [to stay] will not be enough," the guard concluded.
