Can arrived at Turk Telekom last summer, leading the team in one of the most successful seasons in the club's history.

The Ankara-based club finished first in the Basketball Super League regular season, made the domestic semis, and also advanced to the EuroCup final.

The 42-year-old coach guided Ankara through 60 games, collecting 44 wins and 16 losses.

Before his tenure with Turk Telekom, Can served as an assistant coach for a decade. He worked under prominent coaches such as Neven Spahija (2012-13), Zeljko Obradovic (2013-20), and Igor Kokoskov (2020-21) at Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul. Can also had a stint with the NBA's Utah Jazz under Quin Snyder (2021-22).

Can becomes Ergin Ataman's successor, who has officially signed a deal with Panathinaikos Athens.
