NBA records highest average attendance for November in league history
NBA games throughout November averaged18,208 fans in attendance, which is the highest average attendancefor November in league history, the NBA announced in a pressrelease.
This is further evidence that theNBA's inaugural in-season tournament seems to be moving the needleamongst fans.
Recently, the league also announcedthat viewership has increased as well -- up 55% vs. a comparable spanlast season (1.7 million viewers vs. 1.09 million).
Viewership of In-SeasonTournament games on NBA League Pass is up 42% vs. the 2023regular-season average to date, and NBA League Pass watch time wasup 25% during the seven Group Play nights. Also,regionalsports networks and over-the-air stations have seen a 20% increasevs. last November’s average viewership.
The NBA also announcedthat this was their best November ever across the league'ssocial-media accounts and app, as they generated a record 3.9billion video views.
