One of them was related to Mumbru.
Alex Mumbru is going to be the coach, both [general manager] Enric [Carbonell] and I have always been clear about it. Alex is going to be next year's coach," he told.
In his first year as Valencia's coach, Mumbru's squad finished the Spanish Liga Endesa's (ACB) season in 8th place and got eliminated in the quarterfinals by eventual champions FC Barcelona.
With 15 wins and 19 losses, Valencia finished the EuroLeague's regular season in 13th place. Even though Valencia don't have a clear place in the next year's competition, they are highly favored to take the vacated spot that was left by Gran Canaria.
