Four NBA players spearhead Turkey's preliminary roster for FIBA Olympic QT / News - Basketnews.com

Turkey will try to qualify for the Paris Olympic Games through the Qualifying Tournament that will be hosted in Istanbul.

Turkey will share its chances with Ukraine, Bulgaria and Iceland in Group C of the FIBA ​​Olympic Qualifying Tournament, which will be hosted by the country between 12-20 August.

The Netherlands, Croatia, Belgium and Sweden make up the other group. All games will be played at the Sinan Erdem Arena in Istanbul,

Before the tournament, the federation announced the administrative, technical and basketball roster of the national team. The first day of training camp isMonday, July 17.

The squad is coached by new Panathinaikos' bench boss Ergin Ataman, whose ex-assistant Yakup Sekizkok and future assistant Cenk Yildirim will be also sitting beside him. Ender Arslan, Mehmet Okur and Hakan Demirel are also part of the coaching staff.

Among the 21 players that were called up, four NBA players (Cedi Osman, Alperen Sengun,Omer Yurtseven,Furkan Korkmaz) stand out, while Shane Larkin still holds the naturalized player's position.
