Nate Mason Jr. scored 22 points and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson finished with 15 as the San German Athletics regained home-court advantage Saturday with an 85-75 win over the Santurce Cangrejeros in Game 4 of the Puerto Rican league (BSN) quarterfinals.

The game ended with a fierce confrontation between the Cangrejeros' Kenneth Faried and the coach of the opponent team, Eddie Casiano, in the middle of the court. Faried seemed to reject Casiano's greeting after the game finished and immediately returned to him in a threatening manner, slapping him in the face.

Immediately afterward, the players of both teams sided with the former NBA and CSKA Moscow player and the 50-year-old coach, who was born in New York, and there was a lot of pushing and shoving.

Casiano was coming off a five-game suspension late in the regular season after a third ejection in a game in Fajardo, where a fan confronted referee Jorge Vazquez. He returned for the start of the quarterfinal series. Faried, for his part, accumulated 12 points with 17 rebounds.

One day later, the league informed that as a result of the altercation, Kenneth Faried was fined $2,000.00, while Angel Matías and Josue Erazo $500.00.

However, that same night, another incident captured a lot of attention. Emmanuel Mudiay, who had played for Zalgiris Kaunas in 2021-22, recorded 13 points, eight assists and seven rebounds for the losing side. During a timeout, the former NBA guard aggressively knocked down the drawing board of head coach, Allans Colon, in a sign of frustration.

The incident seemed to have no further implications for Mudiay, as his teammates rushed to his side to calm him down.

The player took to Instagram to express his remorse and apologize for his behavior.

"I take full responsibility for last night. Emotions got the best of me and that's not how you react in heated moments," Mudiay admitted. "I and coach have spoken and I've apologized. He's our leader and we're good.

I have the utmost respect for our coach, coaching staff, teammates, trainers, and staff. I want the Cangrejeros to win this year's championship just as bad as our organization and fans."
