As part of the agreement, forward John Collins will be traded to the Jazz, while the Hawks will receive forward Rudy Gay and a future second-round pick.

Collins, who is owed $78 million over the next three seasons, has been a key player for the Hawks since being drafted 19th overall in 2017, establishing himself as one of the Eastern Conference's top forwards.
