Nikola Milutinov has officially made his return to Olympiacos, and he's now ready to bring the team to an even higher level than before. We take a look at the process that led him to sign with Olympiacos and what impact he might have on coach Bartzokas' side.

After spending three seasons with CSKA Moscow, Nikola Milutinov's long-awaited return to Athens andOlympiacos Piraeusbecame official.

Before joining CSKA in 2020, Milutinov played for five seasons with Olympiacos, a team that turned him from an intriguing prospect to one of the biggest European basketball stars.

But Milutinov also fell in love with the city and remained extremely connected to Athens even after he left the club. So when his contract with CSKA Moscow was about to expire, the rumors about his potential return to Olympiacos started to spread quickly.

The first few contacts between Milutinov and Olympiacos' front office began a couple of months ago, multiple sources told BasketNews, and they were fueled by the willingness of the player to rejoin the Greek side. However, Olympiacos wasn't the only club following Milutinov closely.
