All first-round rookies are paid according to the official rookie scale. It clearly defines the salaries for each of the 30 selected players. However, the exact contracts are not clear yet.
Each player can negotiate a deal with their respective club worth up to 120% of the rookie scale. At the same time, a contract might be worth as little as 80% of the rookie scale as well.
Although the exact numbers might vary due to the new Collective Bargaining Agreement, Wembanyama should sign the deal with maximum values.
The deal will include team options for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 seasons.
