"The great Zoc taught them how to use their own talent, they kiss the shirt in front of 20 thousand fans out of love for the club, [and] then they find a bigger bag, they part ways, and leave Zoc with the 'opportunity to prove themselves'," Tanjevic tweeted.
Moments later, he likened the foreigners that leave Partizan to the Wagner Group, a Russian state-funded private military organization composed of mercenaries that recently held a coup against the Russian government.
"The Partizan's 'Wagners' are fleeing toward the West, they're already somewhere around Zidani Most, they remember the day when they kissed the jersey in front of 20 thousand faithful fans," he continued.
Besides Lessort, Kevin Punter is also on the move with a reported deal with FC Barcelona. Both Dante Exum and Zach LeDay are targeted by several high-profile organizations while Ioannis Papapetrou has been rumored to leave the team as well.
Two hours after his initial tweets, Tanjevic apologized for his strong words.
"I'm sorry that I looked so hard on the players who left Partizan because I believe that next year they would have avoided the fateful mistake of that fight in Madrid, which maybe even cost them the title," he wrote.
