Several months until the official start of the 2023-24 EuroLeague season, the 18 participating teams have been announced.

Besides the usual 12 shareholders that hold permanent A licenses in the competition, six other teams were announced as well.

FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, Anadolu Efes Istanbul, Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, Zalgiirs Kaunas, FC Bayern Munich, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, Panathinaikos Athens, and Olympiacos Piraeus are permanent members of the tournament.

AS Monaco remains in the competition as the EuroCup winners due to their advancement to the playoffs for each of the past two seasons. ALBA Berlin, meanwhile, continues on a one-year license.

Virtus Segafredo Bologna, Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade, and Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade will compete in the EuroLeague as wild card teams.

Dreamland Gran Canaria were supposed to participate as the EuroCup winners but the team withdrew due to financial and logistic issues. Valencia Basket will replace the Spanish team in the competition.

The EuroLeague shareholders took a vote on whether Turk Telekom Ankara should replace Gran Canaria. After the vote, it was decided that Valencia will be granted a wildcard.

With the Spanish club joining the tournament once again, the roster of the teams remains identical to the 2022-23 season.
