Andre Drummond is picking up his option with Chicago Bulls rather than testing free agency.

Andre Drummond has exercised his $3.36M option to return to the Chicago Bulls, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Despite being a considerable distance away from his prime years as an All-Star with the Detroit Pistons, the 6-foot-10 center continues to be a consistent asset coming off the bench.

In the previous NBA season, Drummond provided valuable support for the Bulls, averaging 6.0 points and 6.6 rebounds in just 12 minutes per game.

This made him an effective complement to starting center Nikola Vucevic, as he fulfilled the backup role in 67 games throughout the 2022-23 regular season.
