"We're grateful we got a chance to be there. Disappointed with [Oct.] injury; it was kind of a wasted year for him. We'll try to find a place that values him and helps him reach his potential," Yourtseven's agent Keith Glass said, via Barry Jackson of Miami Herald.

The Turkish center went undrafted along with Max Strus, Gabe Vincent, Caleb Martin, and Duncan Robinson. While the other players mentioned received significant playing time with the Heat and played crucial roles in the team's NBA Finals run this past season, Yurtseven did not have the same opportunities.

In his debut season, the 25-year-old Yurtseven averaged 12.6 minutes per game, and last season he played an average of 9.2 minutes per contest. He appeared in just nine 2022-23 games due to a left ankle injury that required surgery. During nine contests, Yurtseven managed to post 4.4 points and 2.6 rebounds.

His rookie season averages marked 5.3 points and 5.3 boards over 56 games (12 starts).

Yurtseven started his playing career with Fenerbahce.
