VanVleet, 29, initially an undrafted player, joined the Raptors in 2016 and has since established himself as a reliable scorer and playmaker throughout his seven-year NBA career.
In the 2020 offseason, he became a free agent and secured a significant four-year contract worth $85 million from Toronto.
Since signing the new deal, VanVleet has consistently delivered on the court, maintaining averages of 19.8 points, 4.2 assists, and 6.8 rebounds per game over the past three seasons. He earned an All-Star selection in the 2021-22 season.
VanVleet played a pivotal role in the Raptors' journey to the NBA championship in 2019.
