Free agent wing Yuta Watanabe has agreed on a deal with the Phoenix Suns, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The 28-year-old Japanese brings three-point shooting to complement the Suns' already impressive lineup consisting of Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal.

Last season, Watanabe showcased his efficiency as a three-point shooter while playing as a reserve for the Brooklyn Nets. He boasted an impressive 44.4% success rate from beyond the arc, taking an average of 2.3 attempts per game.

Additionally, he displayed his accuracy from two-point range, converting 55.7% of his shots, resulting in an exceptional 62.1% effective field-goal percentage.

Despite averaging 5.6 points per game last season, Watanabe's productivity translated to an impressive 16.4 points per 100 possessions.
