According to Shams Charania from The Athletic, the 25-year-old has signed a four-year $56 million deal to stay with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The deal includes a player option in Year 4 as well as a 15% trade kicker.

Before becoming a restricted free agent this summer, Reaves played on a minimum deal. He has now received the maximum the Lakers could offer on an Early Bird contract.

Reaves averaged 13.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.4 assists last season on 52.9% shooting (39.8% 3PT).

Since the free agency started on June 30th, the Lakers have added Taurean Prince, Gabe Vincent, Rui Hachimura, Cam Reddish, Jaxson Hayes, and D'Angelo Russell to the roster.

Reaves will play for Team USA in the upcoming 2023 FIBA World Cup. Reaves has roots in Germany but ultimately decided to represent the country he was born in.
