Atlanta will get 2028 Houston's second-rounder, 2025 Minnesota's second-rounder, and $1.1 million cash. In exchange, the Rockets will receive draft rights to Alpha Kaba, Lauren L. Williams from Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Garuba went back and forth between the NBA and the G-League in his first year in the league in 2021. In his sophomore season, the 21-year-old played exclusively in the NBA.
In 75 games with the Rockets, Garuba averaged 3.0 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.
Last year, Garuba became a EuroBasket 2022 winner with the Spanish national team.
