Nate Wolters' stint at Panathinaikos Athens was short, as he stayed with the Greens for just one season.

The American guard will not stay in the Greek capital for another season and will be looking for the next destination in his career, after the club announced that the two sides are parting ways.

Wolters was signed last summer with the prospect of being the team's starting point guard. However, a series of injuries did not help him become an integral part of the squad.

In addition, on April 19, he became the odd man out when Panathinaikos didn't register him for their Greek playoff roster, opting to go with Mateusz Ponitika as a choice in the point guard position. Coach Christos Serelis had to adhere to foreign players' rule restrictions and thus, Wolters watched the season's final stretch from the bench.

During the season, the American guard averaged 6.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 17 minutes of Greek Basket League participation and 7.9 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists with 35.2% on three-pointer shooting in 22 minutes in the EuroLeague.
